Glossary

LOAD:

Working Load Limit / WLL / SWL / Lashing Capacity:
--the maximum load which may be applied to a given product or component in a straight pull. It is usually measured in daN.or KG.

Proof Test Load / PTL / PL:
--this is the load applied on proof testing the product. At this load the product may not show visual deformation.

Minimum Breaking Load / MBL / BL:
--the minimum load at which the product may fail or no longer support the load.
 

MATERIAL:

--Mild Steel
--Carbon Steel
--High Tensile Steel
--Alloy Steel

FINISH:

Self-color / SC:
--the product is delivered in the condition it has been forged or machined and has undergone no specific finish treatment.

E-Galvanized / E-Galv.:
--the product is electro-galvanized according to the customary standards, after the actual production of the product. The thickness of the coating is at least 5 μ m.

Hot dipped galvanized / H.D.G:
--the product is hot dipped galvanized according to the customary standards, after the actual production of the product. The thickness of the coating is at least 70 μm.

Painted / Power Coated:
--the product is painted in a specific color after the production.
